We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, procurement and delivery of plant maintenance works across mined tunnel and TBM activities.

About the Role

  • Undertake cost tracking of plant section, maintenance, and operation to ensure work remains within budget.
  • Oversee technical specification of equipment and installation drawings.
  • Monitor and ensure project planning and related deliverables are completed within schedule and budget.
  • Assist project sites by providing technical advice and scheduling/monitoring plant repairs as required, ensuring they are completed in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Manage Plant maintenance schedules and ensure compliance.
  • Manage compliance of documentation uploaded on MEX.
  • Promote a positive culture regarding HSE, Environmental Management, Sustainability, People, Community and Quality.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience working on Tier 1 projects.
  • Experience managing direct workforce and subcontractors in the delivery of work plans and scope.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in project management and coordination. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
