About the Role

We seek an experienced Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administration of the programme.
  • Lead curriculum development and review.
  • Support teachers in best practice.
  • Ensure IB compliance.
  • Promote international-mindedness.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Lead the strategic vision and growth of the IBDP within the school.
  • Build a culture of academic inquiry and international-mindedness.
  • Ensure alignment of teaching programmes with IB standards and practices.
  • Oversee curriculum planning, subject group coordination, and integration of core components.
  • Monitor and support assessment practices.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the school and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
  • Ensure policies, practices, and reporting requirements are met.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Board.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Practical Assessment.
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (employment category).
  • Current National Police Check.
