Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing department. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing routine changes and providing expertise in deviation investigations.

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is also required.

As a Manufacturing Operations Specialist, you will investigate deviations, assemble investigation teams, and lead cross-functional tasks. You will also partner with manufacturing experts, plan and communicate changes, and monitor progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate deviations from within the manufacturing area
  • Assemble an investigation team and lead the investigation to closure
  • Lead cross-functional task completion of routine changes with short-term time frames and on existing processes
  • Partner with the manufacturing experts to understand problems or opportunities
  • Plan and communicate the change ensuring all stakeholders progress the tasks to timely completion

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry
  • Experience in project and change management working as part of a larger team
  • Understanding of cGMP, regulatory requirements, and relevant environmental health and safety requirements
  • Knowledge of validation technology, production, and management processes within and external to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to solve problems and demonstrate initiative
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering

Required Skills and Qualifications

They will also have knowledge of quality systems, including cGMP, and be familiar with regulatory requirements. Additionally, they will have experience with project management tools and be able to analyze data to identify trends and root causes.
