Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team driving innovation in healthcare. As a Coding Product Specialist, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise across our comprehensive suite of health information management solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting product implementation, optimisation, and training, as well as delivering engaging product demonstrations and presentations. You will also build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, conduct ICD-10-AM coding audits, and contribute to product development.

In addition, you will create user guides, training materials, and release documentation, and stay up to date with IHACPA guidelines and coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Health Information Management or Clinical Coding qualification is essential for this role.
  • You should have at least 5–10 years' experience in HIM/clinical coding and be eligible for HIMAA full membership.
  • Auditing qualifications (La Trobe University or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-AM and Activity Based Funding is required.
  • You should have excellent communication and public speaking skills and be able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Willngness to travel within Australia (optional overseas travel) is a must.
