Job Opportunity

Lutwyche FullTime. A values-based organisation is seeking an experienced, passionate, and qualified Trainer & Assessor to take a lead role in providing high quality training with students and help shape the future of care.

You will provide engaging and practical training through delivery of interactive online training, face-to-face sessions, and support student with site visits during placement. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver training and assessment services online and face-to-face including evening classes as required
  • Conduct support sessions with students and regularly contact student cohort to provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of study
  • Monitor, mark and conduct student assessments

Some other key duties will be:

  • Conduct site visits with students on vocational placement to provide support and conduct student assessments where applicable
  • Plan, review and improve training and assessment materials
  • Maintain current knowledge of the VET industry and standards

To be considered for this opportunity you must hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor qualification. You should have a minimum certificate III in Individual Support in Aging and Disability stream and at least 2 years relevant industry working experience. Evidence of industry currency within the last 12 months is also required. High-level communication skills both written and verbal are necessary with the ability to build rapport quickly and adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved.
