Job Title: Process Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Quality Engineer to join our team.

About the Job:

The Process Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality plans to ensure that manufacturing processes meet customer requirements. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities:
  • Process Management: Develop and implement quality plans, manage process validation activities, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve quality-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in kaizen events and six sigma projects to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field.
  • Associate with 3 years relevant quality or manufacturing experience.
  • Highly proficient in GD&T and familiar with RTX and GE Aerospace requirements.
  • Understanding of QMS requirements and compliance with aerospace customers, AS9100, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Knowledge and experience with first-piece, in-process, and final inspections and related equipment.
Additional Experience:
  • Prior DQR & LCS (CLCSR) certification is a plus.
  • Internal Quality Management System auditing experience is a plus.
  • VBA or Python experience is a plus.
  • Familiarization with CMM measurement is a plus.
