Accountant Role

We are seeking a professional accountant to join our practice. With a strong reputation in the Eastern suburbs of Adelaide, our services are in high demand and we require assistance at an intermediate/senior level.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting, completed or studying towards CA/CPA, and at least 2 years' experience in a public practice in tax and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a wide range of clients.
  • Completing work in a timely and efficient manner using well-established and well-designed workpapers.
  • Meeting targets based on delivery of completed work.
  • Communicating with team members while working with and reporting to senior accountants and partners.
  • Interacting with clients, responding to issues in a practical way, providing clients with a positive experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Commerce/Accounting.
  • Completed or studying towards CA/CPA.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a public practice in tax and business services.
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with income tax, CGT, and GST.
  • Proficient with accounting packages including MYOB and Xero and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
