Job SummaryWe're seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our allied health team at Novita. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality therapy services and support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the growth and development of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualised therapy programs to meet the unique needs of clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working in the disability sector, preferably in an early intervention, paediatric, or adult setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound understanding of person-centred thinking, the principles of NDIS, and the National Disability Services Standards
