Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional mental health care to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Apply your expertise to design, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic interventions.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff, students, and colleagues to foster professional development.
- Supervise delegated tasks and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development of tailored services that meet the unique needs of our local community.

About the Team:

Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive, person-centred care that addresses both immediate and long-term mental health needs. We collaborate with health professionals and service providers from various sectors to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

Requirements:

- For Registered Nurses (RN/M2C):
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practicing certificate.
- Must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice.
- At least 3 years of full-time equivalent, post-registration mental health experience.

- For Occupational Therapists (AHP2):
- Must hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

- For Rural Generalist Social Workers (AHP2):
- Must hold a recognised qualification in Social Work and be eligible for practicing membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Participation in the AASW Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accreditation program is desirable.
