Job Title

A Cyber Security Specialist is required to develop and present enterprise-level cyber solutions.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements.
  • Presentation of go-to-market strategies to prospects and existing clients.
  • Delivery of technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Response to RFPs and RFIs with clear, concise, documentation.
  • Architecture of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions using industry best practices.
  • Evaluation of customer environments to align services and cyber controls with business objectives.
  • Recommendation of technologies and services across EDR, MDR, DLP, and advanced threat detection domains.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and technical roadmaps.
  • Leadership of technical discovery sessions and facilitation of security workshops.
  • Engagement in solution scoping and planning.
Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Deep understanding of modern cyber security threats, architectures, and protective controls.
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, Australian Government ISM.
  • Strong knowledge of Mitre Att&ck framework.
  • Familiarity with security operations, including SIEM, SOC, and incident response capabilities.
  • Understanding of IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL).
  • Ability to communicate security risk in business terms to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a cybersecurity engineering or technical sales capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and presenting enterprise-level cyber solutions.
  • Familiarity with current Australian regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and solution blueprints.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of enterprise sales cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
