Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance of IC and/or battery electric forklifts, with experience leading a team in a similar environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the skills and abilities of field service technicians through training and onsite assistance. They will ensure adherence to WHS and environmental policies, and assist technicians in meeting standard times and maintaining high levels of service van cleanliness and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational and technical support to technicians.
  • Ensure adherence to WHS and environmental policies.
  • Assist technicians in meeting standard times and maintaining high levels of service van cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Maintain regular contact with field service controllers and managers.
  • Collaborate with technicians to optimize labour utilisation, paperwork, and operational requirements.
  • Resolve customer issues in conjunction with field service controllers and managers.
  • Manage inventory stock levels and complete other tasks as requested by the field service manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience leading a team in a similar environment.
  • Relevant trade qualification.
  • Experience in maintenance of IC and/or battery electric forklifts.
  • License to install and repair LPG systems (desired).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
