Project Design Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Design Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.

This involves heavily liaising with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field.

A minimum of 8 years' experience in a Design Management role is required, preferably with previous experience working for a head contractor. Experience within the ECI and Tender Phase as well as the Construction & Delivery Phase is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on new build construction projects valued over $30M.

You will be responsible for selecting and engaging consultants to produce construction documentation, managing consultants, coordinating the documentation process, running design meetings, and handover of documentation to the construction team.

To be considered for this position, you must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
