Production Operations Specialist

This casual role involves working up to 38 hours per week Monday to Friday at our Wellcamp site. You will report directly to the Production Manager and be responsible for ensuring production timelines run to schedule.

The successful candidate will have a technical and problem-solving attitude towards food manufacturing, with experience in HACCP and GMP. They will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a good team player ability.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work in a shift environment, with a certificate 3 in Food Processing or equivalent being desirable. A forklift licence is also highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-operative checks and equipment set up
  • Work in Medium Care and Low Care areas
  • Operate machines and troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct on-line quality checks
  • Clean and maintain machines and equipment
  • Follow food safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist in other areas of the factory when required

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in food manufacturing and processing
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
