Job Title: Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to lead our finance function and contribute to delivering on our purpose, vision, and strategic priorities.

  • Provide strategic leadership of financial operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Drive long-term financial strategy and oversee financial performance, including financial reporting and analysis.

You will promote a high-performance culture, drive financial compliance, and partner with senior leaders to achieve business outcomes. This role requires a demonstrated ability to lead, support, and influence large, high-performing teams in a dynamic and complex environment.

To be successful in this challenging and rewarding role, you will have considerable experience in the direct management of large teams and be able to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

A proven track record operating at a senior executive level, having managed a complex finance function within the public sector, is essential. Your ability to operate strategically across the business will be complemented by your commitment to problem-solving, understanding challenges, communicating, and supporting your team at an operational level.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with our business objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory bodies.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. You will also be a strategic thinker, able to provide guidance and direction to your team and contribute to the development of our business strategy.
