This role involves working as part of a collaborative effort, offering direct support to families in need.
This is a full-time fixed-term position, based at our South Melbourne office, within our Family and Community Services Program.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide casework services, assessing risks, needs, and safety for families.
- Engage with vulnerable children, young people, and families, utilizing contemporary frameworks and interventions.
- Collaborate with the wider Family Services Team to achieve best outcomes for families.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, child development, psychology, or a related field.
- Understanding of contemporary family violence frameworks and experience in casework and case management with diverse families.
- Valid Driver's Licence, Satisfactory Criminal History Check, and Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
- Paid industry-specific training, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and Cultural Awareness.
