Strategic Governance Leader

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, the ability to manage complex projects and a deep understanding of corporate governance principles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategic corporate governance initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness and capability.
- Manage the definition and development of key performance measures, including analysis and interpretation of data, to inform high-quality reporting.
- Implement corporate governance frameworks, plans and policies with a deep working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate risk management and business continuity activities to ensure readiness for unexpected events.
- Represent the department in external forums and prepare executive briefings on complex governance matters.
- Lead a high-performing team in an environment of tight deadlines and competing priorities.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build productive relationships across the Justice Portfolio and with central agencies.
