Payroll Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with relevant legislation, company policies and award/agreement requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support end-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll to deadline.
  • Process and maintain employee data and payroll records.
  • Provide support and high-level customer service to employees and managers.
  • Assist payroll management in audits and financial reporting as well as supporting end of month and end of year reporting and activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a payroll processing role, with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of payroll legislation, tax and superannuation requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Excel and Word).
  • Employment Hero (or similar size HRIS/Payroll system) experience highly advantageous.
