Job DescriptionAs a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, delivery, and ongoing management of a major matter over an extended period. You will assist with pricing, resourcing, communication, reporting, and process mapping to ensure the matter runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Matter management: Supporting the planning, delivery, and ongoing management of a major matter over an extended period.
- Operational excellence: Assisting with pricing, resourcing, communication, reporting, and process mapping to ensure the matter runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Driving the development and implementation of internal Legal Project Management tools, including set up, training, and continuous improvement.
- Identifying, developing, and testing technology solutions that can enhance the delivery of LPM tasks and functions.
- Creating and contributing to LPM templates, collateral, guidance materials, and training to build firm-wide capability.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring experience in a project management environment and a desire to take the next step in your career. You're someone who thrives on organisation, collaboration, and finding better ways of working.
- Bring around 2–3 years of hands-on project management experience (legal, professional services, or a comparable environment).
- Have a track record of spotting opportunities for improvement and working with stakeholders to implement change effectively.
- Be highly organised, with a strong focus on detail, and comfortable acting as the central point for workflow coordination and prioritisation.
- Show empathy and a service mindset — you understand the importance of supporting the team and partner to achieve the best outcomes.
