Senior Document Controller

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the document management function, providing operational oversight and expert guidance to ensure compliance, reporting, and governance across the project.

Cross River Rail is a significant infrastructure project that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. As part of this project, you will have the chance to contribute to region-shaping initiatives and work on complex projects.

The Senior Document Controller will be responsible for leading the Document Control team and managing daily workflows, guiding document management strategies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, and leading project handover and handback documentation delivery to meet contractual obligations.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior document control role, including team leadership, mentoring, and coaching, as well as the implementation of document control strategies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Strong working knowledge of document management systems, with experience using at least one platform such as TeamBinder, Content Manager (TRIM), or ProjectWise.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, maintain document integrity, manage workflows, prioritise tasks, and respond effectively to urgent Requests for Information.
