About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for a wide range of infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of structural civil and mechanical scopes, as well as excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail skills.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates across structural steel civil works and mechanical installation
  • Interpret engineering drawings specifications and contract documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing
  • Assess project scope and highlight risks or exclusions
  • Assist with tender preparation and pricing breakdowns
  • Prepare and monitor variations
Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience estimating in construction, fabrication, or mechanical projects, and be familiar with contracts and commercial risks. A trade engineering or construction background is preferred.

A full driver's licence and WHS White Card (or ability to obtain) are also required.

Requirements
  • Experience estimating in construction fabrication or mechanical projects
  • Strong technical understanding of structural steel civil and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with contracts and ability to identify commercial risks
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication organisation and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel estimating software experience is a plus
  • Trade engineering or construction background preferred
  • Driver's Licence
  • WHS White Card or ability to obtain
