Job Title: Network Operations Center Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing network incidents and faults, escalating as required.

The NOC Engineer will work closely with field technicians, teams, and clients to maintain high network availability. This includes coordinating daily preventative maintenance activities, responding promptly to incidents, and meeting contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage network incidents and faults; escalate as required.
  • Use tools such as SAP, EMC Smarts, and NMS applications for incident resolution and reporting.
  • Collaborate with field technicians, teams, and clients to maintain high network availability.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous service improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and client focus.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cellular network NOC and customer support (GSM 2G preferred).
  • Proficient with Huawei & Nokia RAN, core and transmission equipment in 2G/4G/5G cellular networks.
  • Proficient with network logfile, call trace and events analysis.
  • Proficient with Huawei BTS equipment, network statistics and configuration.
