The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional patient care by utilizing the nursing process, ensuring quality communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
">- Utilize a systematic approach to assess, diagnose, and develop personalized plans for patients.
- Maintain open lines of communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality by actively participating in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for assigned patients according to established standards and protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Active licensure as a RN in the state of Virginia; multi-state license under the Nurse Licensure Compact or single-state license valid in Virginia only.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association approved.
- Relevant specialty certification may be beneficial for career advancement.
