Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing orders to customer specifications is a critical function in our warehouse operations.
  • Processing both Inbound & Outbound orders requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Performing putaways into designated locations ensures accurate inventory management.
  • Timely replenishment of stock is essential for meeting customer expectations and minimizing stock damage.
  • Operating hand-held technology such as RF scanners is a vital part of our warehouse operations.
  • Using WMS to print labels & check data streamlines the order fulfillment process.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all incoming & outgoing orders is crucial for maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Following client SOPs to meet customer expectations and minimize stock damage is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Supporting the operation in stocktakes as required demonstrates a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Ensuring that the work area is clean and tidy promotes a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a high-volume 3PL warehouse environment is highly valued.
  • Forklift Licence (High Reach and/or Counter Balance) is an essential requirement for this role.
  • Proven experience picking, packing, checking and dispatching of orders is necessary for success in this position.
  • Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service is essential.
  • An understanding of the importance of adherence to WH&S policies and procedures is critical.
  • Knowledge of inventory management is necessary for effective stock control.
  • Excellent attention to detail is required for this role.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary for operating warehouse software.
  • Flexible, positive, Can Do attitude is essential for success in this position.
