Senior Casework Coordinator

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting chance to lead and oversee a team of caseworkers in delivering coordinated services to vulnerable children, young people, and families. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with NSW Police and NSW Health to achieve program objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and demonstrate the principles of trauma-informed care
  • Supervise a team of caseworkers and ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality services
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and address the needs of vulnerable children and families
  • Maintain effective relationships with NSW Police and NSW Health
  • Ensure that children and young people remain the focus of assessments and make decisions to protect them from further harm

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Welfare, or a related field
  • Experience leading and managing teams in complex situations
  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care and its impact on children and families
  • Valid driver's license
  • National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check clearance
