Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Institutions Advisory Professional to join our team in Sydney. As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a key strategic role in advising clients on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), financing, and other significant corporate activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research within the financial institutions sector, focusing on identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients across Australia and New Zealand, providing tailored advice and guidance.
  • Assist in due diligence, transaction management, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Investment Banking or similar advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated track record in Australian M&A transactions, with a strong understanding of the local market.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of presentation confidence.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Strong sense of personal integrity, teamwork, and adaptability.
