About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Golf Operations Assistant to join our team at Albury Commercial Golf Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality service standards for members and guests, assisting with the day-to-day running of the Professional Shop in line with the club's policies and procedures, and helping maintain a fleet of golf carts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-quality service standards for members and guests.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the Professional Shop in line with the club's policies and procedures.
  • Help maintain a fleet of 28 EZGO hire carts
  • Assist with golf equipment repairs and regripping
  • Work well and create effective working relationships with team members
  • Present and maintain the Professional Shop to a high standard
  • Assist the Director of Golf with golf coaching when needed

Requirements:

  • Display enthusiasm to develop a career in Professional golf
  • Self-motivated & willing to work as part of a team
  • A passion to provide excellent customer service
  • Be able to work flexible hours & required times
  • Outstanding people & service skills
  • Computer & communication skills
  • Excellent presentation
  • A good understanding of golf competitions and administration
  • Organised, punctual, and reliable
  • Always do the right thing by the club and professional shop business

What We Offer:

  • The remuneration package will be guided by conditions for PGA Associates under the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award, with the opportunity to earn more income from golf coaching.
