About This Role
We're seeking an accomplished Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a pivotal role in which you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Temporary Works Coordination: Effectively manage the Temporary Works Coordinator role for the project, guaranteeing smooth execution and timely completion;
- Design Packages: Prepare high-quality Design Packages in accordance with IFC standards;
- Design Input Co-ordination: Coordinate design inputs for Design Development, fostering effective communication among design and construction teams;
- Request for Information/Design Change Process: Manage the request for information/design change process, ensuring prompt responses and efficient resolution;
- Construction Phase Support Budget: Oversee the construction phase support budget for key sub-consultants, such as Project Architects, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization;
- Variations to Sub-Consultants: Issue variations to sub-consultants to undertake additional works when required, maintaining project momentum;
- Artefact Closure: Assist the construction team in closing out artefacts in the VA Matrices, guaranteeing thorough documentation and record-keeping;
- Project Commercial Team Liaison: Establish strong relationships with the Project Commercial team, facilitating open communication and collaborative decision-making;
- Design Change Management: Effectively manage the design change process should a change onsite result in revision to existing design;
- As Built Drainage Coordination: Co-ordinate As Built Drainage, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
You'll Succeed If You Have:
- Australian Based D&C Project Experience: Demonstrated success working on Australian based D&C projects in relevant construction fields;
- Cert IV in Project Management: Relevant Engineering Degree and/or Cert IV in Project Management or equivalent level of competence (desirable but not essential);
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders;
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in project coordination software and tools, coupled with a solid understanding of construction principles and practices;
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
