This is an opportunity for a skilled and dedicated iOS engineer to join our organization. We are seeking someone with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining advanced iOS applications.

About the Job
  • The successful candidate will be part of a core team of engineers where they will have a significant amount of autonomy and input.
  • They will be involved in the ongoing development of iOS products and be a key member of the team.

We encourage creative thinking and support lateral thinkers who can build out solutions in a scalable and modular way.

The responsibilities of the iOS engineer include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining advanced iOS applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that align with our mission.
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability across a range of iOS devices.
  • Writing tests to ensure maximum code and app quality.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing applications to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Staying at the forefront of iOS development trends, tools, and frameworks.
  • Contributing to and upholding best practices for coding, testing, and software design.

We are looking for someone with:

  • SIGNIFICANT experience developing, deploying, and maintaining apps with the Cocoa/UIKit SDK with Swift.
  • BONUS POINTS if you have good experience playing with SwiftUI.
  • STRONG experience with internal databases like CoreData and Realm.io.
  • STRONG experience with mapping tools like Mapkit and Google maps.
  • DOUBLE BONUS POINTS if you have a background implementing encryption.
  • EXPERIENCE building exceptional and maintainable apps.
  • EXPERIENCE with modern software development techniques and project design patterns.
  • SOLID product/design instincts and a desire to be involved in product decisions.
  • UNDERSTANDING of the principles and process associated with continuous integration.
  • OUTSTANDING written and oral communications skills.
  • SELF-MOTIVATED and able to deliver against mutually agreed timeframes.
