About the Role

We are seeking a talented iOS Engineer to join our team. As an iOS Engineer at Blinq, you will play a central role in crafting the next generation of our iOS experience helping users around the world form real, lasting connections.

Key responsibilities include developing and shipping core app features using Swift and UIKit (and SwiftUI where relevant), partnering with product, design, and backend teams to deliver elegant, fast user experiences, writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure app reliability and performance, contributing to scalable architecture using modern patterns like MVVM, and growing with the team taking ownership of features and learning from senior engineers.


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of iOS development experience with strong Swift fundamentals
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment, ideally SaaS or VC-backed
  • Familiarity with iOS design guidelines, performance optimisation, and app lifecycle
  • Exposure to architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
