About the Role

Living in the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service region, you will work closely with local health teams and deliver high-quality home visiting services to vulnerable families.

The Australian Nurse Family Partnership Program is a voluntary home visiting program for pregnant Aboriginal women. As a Nurse Home Visitor, you will develop long-term relationships with women and their families, providing essential support and guidance throughout their journey.

Working in partnership with women and families, you will empower them to build skills, confidence, and hope for a brighter future. Your dedication and expertise will make a tangible difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing strong relationships with women and families living in the Western Arrernte Health Service region.
  • Managing your caseload effectively, undertaking home visits in accordance with ANFPP requirements.
  • Providing continuity care for the 2.5 year span of program delivery to individual clients.
  • Collaborating effectively with both Aboriginal clients and working with Aboriginal staff for cultural guidance.
