Support Specialist

We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our team in Hornsby, Thornleigh, Pennant Hills and surrounding suburbs.

This is a rewarding role where you can make a positive impact in the lives of our clients. As a Support Specialist, you will be travelling around the area, working in a varied and dynamic role with no two days being the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support and connecting with clients on a daily basis.
  • Assisting clients with day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, tidying, washing, and other tasks outlined in their care plan.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping trips.
  • Preparing meals for clients.
  • Offering social support or respite for family members and carers.
  • Providing personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing if qualified and fully trained.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older Australians.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Reliability and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • An understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • An Australian driver's license and access to a registered motor vehicle are essential.
