Customer Administrative Officer

This role is a great opportunity to work in a community-focused State Government Department. Deliver high-quality administration, telephone and reception services to customers, service providers and members of the public.

  • Maintain a welcoming and professional manner when interacting with customers either by phone or in person.
  • Provide high-level customer service, referrals and administrative support to staff in the Customer Experience and Delivery program.
  • Liaise with customers, their families and other stakeholders in the preparation of draft customer budgets.
  • Review and prepare payments on behalf of customers.
  • Maintain confidential, accurate and complete records of work activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering high-level customer service and organisational skills, be able to multi-skill in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing a service to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and administration support to internal and external clients.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver results.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
