Our organisation is seeking a senior asset management professional to lead the implementation of our OPV system's lifecycle management.

The role involves establishing and maintaining an optimal framework for supportability, reliability and performance. Key responsibilities will include evaluating Navy operating intentions against OPV system requirements, analysing obsolescence and supportability issues, identifying and treating risks, and reviewing engineering change assessments.

Key qualifications for this position include a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as project management, engineering or business, previous experience in a collaborative enterprise environment, proven leadership skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

This role also offers opportunities for developing stakeholder relationships and improving the overall effectiveness of our inventory and maintenance strategies.

To succeed in this challenging role you should have a solid understanding of project management methodologies, experience in sustainment and capability lifecycle management programs and a background in implementing or managing asset management functions.

  • Evaluate Navy operating intentions against OPV system support requirements
  • Analyse, prioritise and address obsolescence, supportability and reliability issues
  • Identify, treat and report risks and opportunities
  • Review and endorse engineering change assessments
  • Assess the effectiveness of inventory and maintenance optimisation strategies
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Improve the OPV Asset Management Framework

As a key member of this team you will be working collaboratively with Defence and industry experts to achieve shared objectives.
