About the Role

As a speech pathologist, you will manage a caseload and provide evidence-based therapeutic supports to clients in a timely manner.

You will deliver speech pathology services to clients within schools, homes, and the broader community, interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client.

Assessing clients' communication and/or swallowing level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardized assessments is also a key responsibility of this role.

Additionally, you will recommend provision of assistive technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and promote independence.

This role requires strong organizational skills, as you will need to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.

  • A demonstrated ability to strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes is necessary, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Qualifications
  • Applicants must possess a degree-qualified speech pathology qualification.
  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) is also required.
