We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to support our road and civil projects across Western Australia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support in the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects. This will involve conducting site inspections, analyzing data, and preparing detailed designs and specifications.

A key aspect of this role is to work collaboratively with our project team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting preliminary technical assessments of potential road and civil works projects
  • Carrying out engineering inspections, analysis, and on-site technical assessments and reviews of existing road and civil works projects
  • Preparing concept, preliminary, and detailed designs based on relevant Australian Standards
  • Preparing engineering drawings using AutoCAD
  • Preparing technical specifications for road and civil works projects
  • Reviewing concept, preliminary, and detailed designs and associated technical documentation
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor project progress
  • Assisting the project team in maintaining project progress and cost management
About You

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • At least three years of experience as a Civil Engineer
  • Working knowledge of key software packages - AutoCAD and 12d
  • A keen interest in road and road-related civil engineering design and construction
  • A respectful, curious, and interested attitude to the role and a willingness and eagerness to learn and accept feedback
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel widely within Western Australia
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to professional development
  • Experience with road design, road construction, and/or road maintenance projects
