About the Role">

We are seeking to appoint Learn to Swim Assistants who will work in our indoor heated pools.

The ideal candidate will have experience in communication, teamwork, and organisation, with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with swimming and water safety lessons
  • Set up and pack away swimming aids and equipment
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, teamwork, organisation, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks and learn new skills
  • Able to engage and work with a range of stakeholders, particularly young people and their parents
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
  • Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety including mandatory reporting requirements
  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card, in accordance with 'No Card, No Start law', as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000
Benefits
  • Rates of Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour (casual) based on experience
