Virtual Health Clinician Job DescriptionAbout the Role

As a Virtual Health Clinician, you will be providing health-related advice and support to individuals over the phone. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse who can apply critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations.

You will be working with a team to provide comprehensive telephone assessments, provide health information, and recommend the appropriate time and place of care. Your expertise will make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing health-related advice and support to individuals over the phone
  • Conducting comprehensive telephone assessments
  • Recommending the appropriate time and place of care
Requirements
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse for a minimum of 3 years
  • At least 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience within the last 5 years as a Registered Nurse
  • A varied nursing background involving substantial public contact
