Healthcare Opportunities
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, culturally responsive primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Your Role:
- Delivering culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with our Model of Care
- Conducting independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making
- Prescribing medications under the relevant guidelines
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations
- Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes
- Collaborating across departments and multidisciplinary teams
- Leading and contributing to quality improvement activities and clinical audits
- Participating in clinical governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people
About You:
To qualify, you must hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner, along with demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting. Additionally, the following qualifications and attributes will be highly regarded:
- Experience working in primary healthcare settings (desirable)
- Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management
- Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams
- Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in a primary healthcare context
- Collaborative approach and ability to adapt to a diverse service environment
