About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Development Coordinator to provide top-notch support to our leadership team in coordinating research development activities, including new research proposals and grant applications. This role requires excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with researchers, clinicians, clinical trial staff, funders, and university representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate research development activities, including new research proposals and grant applications
  • Support the work of the Scientific Advisory Committee and Discipline Specific Advisory Committees
  • Manage relationships with researchers, clinicians, clinical trial staff, funders, and university representatives
  • Provide administrative and organisational support to the CEO and Research Manager

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant work experience
  • High-level organisational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Accuracy, excellent administrative skills, and attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

  • Good working knowledge and experience in medical research grant administration processes
  • Experience in event management
