Front Desk Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Front Desk Operations Specialist. This role involves upholding the highest standards of service quality, providing exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring seamless operations in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To be fully conversant with local tourist services, inclusive of tours, attractions, restaurants, events, transportation, and other related services that guests expect from our establishment.
  • Ensure consistently high presentation standards for both the department and personnel.
  • Anticipate guest needs and create memorable experiences through thoughtful and intuitive service delivery.
  • Effectively communicate orders with the kitchen, maintaining efficient service workflows.
  • Clear and replenish crockery and cutlery as needed, adhering to the highest hygiene standards.
  • Maintain rigorous quality assurance standards in all operational aspects.
  • Apply the 'Make it Right' empowerment guidelines to resolve service recovery concerns using the Hilton 'HEART' model.
  • Perform any additional duties reasonably assigned by the Night Manager.
Requirements:
  • Hold current RSA Certification, providing Human Resources with a copy.
  • Prior experience in Hospitality or Customer Service is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management are desirable.
