We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our Remedial/Repair Division in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors on-site to ensure zero harm, zero defects, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead by Example: Foster a strong safety culture and ensure the consistent adoption of safe work procedures.
  2. Develop and Implement QSE Plans: Collaborate with the Project Engineer to develop and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) plans and work procedures.
  3. Enhance Construction Methods: Apply your construction experience to enhance methods, adopting efficient and safe approaches to get the job done.
  4. Manage On-Site Activities: Supervise and manage on-site activities, supporting the site team in problem-solving and managing day-to-day operational risks.
  5. Train and Develop Site Teams: Train and develop site teams, ensuring they have the right skills, attitude, and support to succeed.
  6. Oversee Team Performance: Monitor site productivity and report to the Project Engineer, promptly identifying and addressing variations and delays.
  7. Conduct Safety Pre-Starts and Inspections: Conduct safety pre-starts, toolbox talks, and inspections, and manage safety incidents in conjunction with the Project Engineer.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. At least 5 years of supervisory experience within the construction industry, particularly in concrete works, remediation, or cathodic protection.
  2. High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  3. Willingness to be a hands-on supervisor and work on the tools as needed.
  4. Strong understanding of safety guidelines and regulations as they relate to construction projects.
  5. Experience with safety documentation preparation and implementation.
  6. Clean full driver's license.
  7. EWP Ticket, high-risk license, and forklift license are advantageous.
  8. Experience working on marine projects or mining sites is highly desirable.
