The Role We Are Looking For
We are looking for an individual who can engage with employers and gain an understanding of the local labour market to identify new and ongoing employment opportunities.
As part of our friendly and supportive team, you will be networking with community organisations who work with people with a disability, illness or injury.
You will develop strong relationships with customers, both face to face and over the phone, to understand their capacity to work, their employment preferences and what support they need.
Maintaining regular employer and customer contact after they start work is essential to review their progress and ensure any issues are actioned swiftly.
Assisting our customers to become job ready and working with other local community services where required to address any barriers to employment that our customers may be experiencing.
About The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for passionate individuals who genuinely want to assist others in our local community. You don't need to have experience in this field, however, here are a few things we are looking for.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to an ongoing changing environment. You must be able to build rapport and communicate with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and life experience.
You are not afraid to seek out and consult with local employers and community organisations to develop employment opportunities for our customers.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, in a high performance, results focused culture is essential. Availability to work from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday is also required.
Additional Requirements:
Right to Work in Australia i.e., Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa with permission to work.
A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is necessary.
A current and valid Driver's Licence is required.
Willingness to undertake a 'Fit2Work' Police Check.
