As a Store Network Credit Officer, you will be responsible for making and receiving phone calls from customers and our store network, handling customer complaints and resolving queries, processing journals to resolve banking/receipting issues, and providing genuine, friendly, prompt service.
You will also be responsible for debt collection/credit control, including contacting customers/stores and investigating reasons for late payments and payment options, negotiating a payment plan for customers, placing accounts on stop credit as required, and checking and investigating disputes or discrepancies with customer accounts.
Additionally, you will be responsible for account maintenance, including account maintenance and set up, setting credit limits for customers, and ensuring appropriate security processes.
You will also be responsible for reconciliations and receipting, including ensuring all Key Accounts are reconciled, reporting as required, and administration.
We are looking for a candidate with customer service experience, who is looking to kick start their professional career, or an experienced person wanting to join a stable, progressive company.
You will be available for a full time position, and be willing to work a rotating roster, Mon-Fri 8am and 10am starts.
You will have demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and develop strong professional relationships, excellent verbal and written communication skills, intermediate mathematical and literacy skills, and intermediate computer skills, and confidence with excel.
