About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Management Specialist to join our team in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work on a soon-to-commence project, initially focusing on design management and coordination, before transitioning into delivery and overseeing subcontractors and suppliers on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
  • Design management and coordination.
  • Client management and liaison.
  • Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
  • Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
  • Preparation of cost forecasts and management of cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
  • Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship at the time of application.
  • Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • 3-6 (or more) years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects.
  • Previous design and on-site construction experience, managing major trade packages.
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management).
  • Clear and articulate communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders both internally and externally.

Estimated Salary Range

$110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
