Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic 4 to join our team in the Northern Territory, Australia. This is a long-term assignment that will require 100% OCONUS travel. As an Aircraft Mechanic 4, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing aircraft and engine systems. You will also conduct diagnosis of malfunctions and perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform developmental, production, and/or operational aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, and installation to support flight operations and fleet integration of the MQ-4C Triton air vehicle.
- Areas of specialization include: avionics, electrical, airframe, engine, instrumentation systems, and integrated systems.
- Work from blueprints, engineering orders, schematics, repair manuals, and other technical documents in the performance of maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various vehicle systems/subs.
- Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose malfunctions to properly identify and correct problems in minimum time.
- Install upgrades and remove products ensuring coordinative engineering field changes.
- Work with the NG Australia personnel to provide specific MQ-4C Triton experience level training of the air vehicle.
- Assists in delivery and documentation efforts of all training materials.
- Provides daily functionality support to execute within the statement of work.
- Adhere to any/all Contractor Operating Procedures IAW (NGDS/NGA) requirements and local RAAF airfield guidelines/requirements.
- May require safe for flight designation.
Requirements
- Technical degree/certification in a related field and 2-year experience, (MQ-4C, Q4/Triton/Global Hawk) experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- An Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance up to SCI/Poly if required.
- MQ-4C Aircraft Production/Modification/Operational experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Triton/Global Hawk experience (Bettie Qualified).
- OOMA and U.S. Navy maintenance experience.
- Experience instructing maintenance in a FSR role.
- Avionics/Electrical background.
- Airframes/Structures/Composites.
- Comfortable/confidant working within an international team setting to deliver experience, training, and other specific courseware.
