Job Summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic 4 to join our team in the Northern Territory, Australia. This is a long-term assignment that requires 100% OCONUS travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft and engine systems, conduct diagnosis of malfunctions, and perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions.
  • Install upgrades and remove products, ensuring coordinative engineering field changes, and maintain effective customer communications and relations.
  • May provide onsite training to customers and support personnel, and act as a Field Support Representative.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or certification in a related field and 2-year experience, or MQ-4C, Q4/Triton/Global Hawk experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance up to SCI/Poly if required.
  • MQ-4C Aircraft Production/Modification/Operational experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Triton/Global Hawk experience (Bettie Qualified)
  • OOMA and U.S. Navy maintenance experience.
  • Experience instructing maintenance in a FSR role.
  • Avionics/Electrical background.
  • Airframes/Structures/Composites
  • Comfortable/confidant working within an international team setting to deliver experience, training, and other specific courseware.
