As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for fulfilling the needs of our guests while ensuring that all rooms are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with guests
  • Promptly addressing guest requests and inquiries
  • Ensuring the security and care of guest belongings and hotel property

Quality & Standards:

  • Efficiently completing assigned rooms within designated timeframes
  • Replenishing and managing guest supplies and amenities, including bathroom essentials, mini bar items, towels, and linens
  • Preparing each room to meet established quality standards
  • Rotating and replacing room items as per guidelines, such as mattress protectors and bed linens
  • Reporting any missing items from guest rooms
  • Presenting guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
  • Providing training to new team members as directed
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Reporting maintenance issues in guest rooms

Safety:

  • Maintaining safe and hygienic work practices
  • Reporting any hazards, accidents, or incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Participating in discussions regarding Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) issues

General Duties:

  • Attending all required training sessions
  • Following hotel direction and adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Managing lost property according to established procedures
  • Participating in morning briefings and periodic housekeeping meetings
  • Recording room status accurately, including do not disturb requests
  • Maintaining all equipment, such as trolleys and vacuums
  • Arriving at work punctually
  • Notifying management of any necessary roster changes with adequate notice
  • Following fire and safety protocols
  • Upholding the required standards of personal cleanliness and conduct
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor
