Military Hardware Specialist

About the Role

As a Fitter Armourer, you will utilize your skills to inspect, repair and recondition military equipment ensuring optimal functionality.

  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of military hardware and armaments
  • Operate machinery safely to manufacture or modify required parts
  • Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose

Additional responsibilities include providing support to Defence Bases across the state, assisting with Armoury maintenance and upkeep.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (Fitter & Turner) or Certificate III Engineering Mechanic (General Fitter)
  • A valid Australian Driver's License
  • Physical fitness and a hands-on work style
  • Australian citizenship and ability to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
