Director of Early Childhood Services

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking an experienced Director to lead our Fortitude Valley centre, providing high-quality education and care for children aged six weeks to school age.

About the Role

This key position plays a pivotal role in supporting and developing Teachers and Educators, building strong relationships with children, families, and communities. As a Centre Director, you will be responsible for delivering our bespoke learning program, managing a talented team of early learning professionals, and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.

You will work collaboratively with your team to plan for the future of the centre, focusing on attendance pipeline growth and revenue generation. Your leadership will be instrumental in nurturing the next generation and building connections with families and the community.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, at least 12% above the award rate, plus additional benefits including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • Experience leading and managing change within education, health, or community services
  • Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
