Senior Cost Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our cost management group, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful projects and driving business growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Project Profitability Management: Lead the development and implementation of project profitability strategies, ensuring that all costs are accurately forecasted and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Business Development: Utilize your expertise to build relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth through external partnerships and collaborations.
  • Bid Writing and Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling bids and negotiate contracts that meet client needs while maximizing business value.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise in cost management.
Requirements
  • Education: Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is essential. RICS and AIQS accreditation is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Proven track record in cost planning, with experience in Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects. Defence experience and baseline security clearance are highly valued.
